Changes from the previous version:
- sorting doesn't change the order of comments
- the checksum of the uploaded file is correctly computed on Windows and Mac
- code reorganization, to reduce code duplication and enhance maintainability
- restored SeaMonkey compatibility
Known Issues:
- Uploading from the Adblock Plus drop down with Firefox 3.5 results in an empty file to be uploaded

Version 1.7.1 still doesn't install in Seamonkey. I'm getting a "Required file does not exist" error during installation. I'm using Seamonkey 1.1.16. The last version of APFU I can get to install is 1.5 and the upload button on the Adblock Prefs window is blank and the button doesn't do anything.

I can see your problem - it seems I fixed one problem, then created a new one.
However, Adblock Plus has just dropped compatibility with SeaMonkey 1.1 (only the 2.0b1 and higher is supported) with its development builds, so there's no point in maintaining support with Adblock Plus Filter Uploader. The reason for this is that the extension support in SeaMonkey 1.1 basically sucks. Badly. The extension manager in in the Toolkit (used by Firefox, Thunderbird, SeaMonkey 2.0...) is much more advanced and makes the lives of extension developers much easier.

1) This is not where you can reach the Adblock Plus developer. That would be http://adblockplus.org/
2) That prompt was moved from a dialog window to a tab. Maybe you just overlooked it because you didn't expect it there?

Hi,
I am probably not the first to post this, but I always get an "Unerwarteter Fehler. (2152398868)" when I try to upload my filter. It worked before. I figured the Uploader was not compatible with some new version of ABP, but should this not be different with the new version of the Uploader. Or must I purge something in my settings directory (Win XP)? I was a bit surprised to find my server settings still in the Uploader settings after deinstalling an old version and installing the most recent one. (my ABP version is 1.0.2.

This error code is NS_ERROR_NET_RESET, which means "The connection was established, but no data was ever received." I don't know how this could happen. Maybe it's a firewall or wrong upload settings in the Uploader.

I just updated the compatibility information on AMO. It should get re-enabled when you check for updates.
